A place of Silence, Beauty and Knowledge – GZFLS ISA Wenhua IB Programme, the school where the atmosphere is inspiring to explore and experiment. The talented students motivated us to create the Art Diary – a blog that will reliably cover the diverse range of work happening in the Visual Arts Department.

广州外国语学校爱莎文华IBDP课程是一个充满启发探索和实验氛围的地方，学生极具天赋且才华横溢。所以我们创建了艺术博客，记录在广外IB视觉艺术科组发生的种种。

Our goal is to use the blog as a platform to:

- Share noteworthy accomplishments by Visual Arts students, reflections from alumni, and interviews with current students.

分享视觉艺术学生的艺术成果、分享已毕业校友的感想以及部分在读学生的访谈。

- We will also keep the community updated on ongoing exhibitions, students’ successes, achievements and best teaching practices.

我们将实时更新正在进行的展览、学生的进步与成果和教学实践的最新信息。

- In the Question and Answer div (Q&A) we will try to give objective answers regarding the features and benefits of the Visual Arts course in the International Baccalaureate programme.

在问答部分 (Q&A)，我们将尝试就国际文凭课程视觉艺术课程的特点和优势给出客观的答案。

We also want to inspire ‘art’ and ‘non-art’ students to explore and appreciate art more, to look into the benefits of art education, such as creative and critical thinking, problem-solving skills which are transferable to any field of study or career.

我们还想激发“艺术”和“非艺术”学生更多地探索和欣赏艺术，研究艺术教育的好处，例如激发创造性和批判性思维、培养解决问题的能力，这些都能够应用到艺术以外的其他领域职和职业。

We hope that our blog can be a valuable resource for the school community, parents and students in helping to promote creativity and inspire others to explore their own artistic talents.
